Business Coaching Services

So you’re seeking a business coach in St. Louis, MO.

Or maybe your business is located elsewhere in this wonderful world. 🌍

Well you’ve come to the right place.

Let me first state that my coaching style differs from traditional coaching.

The approach I utilize combines decades of life experience, certified mindset processes and digital marketing expertise to take you and your business to the next level.

As you continue to read it’s broken down in detail to give you the full picture.

You can read the details of my journey and how I acquired this unique skillset here.

I was fortunate to have people “coach” me when I decided I wanted more out of life.

From working in sales, I discovered Hypnosis and NLP.

Being self employed myself, I realized that most small business owners struggle with anxiety.

Anxiety as a human being who has experience trauma in the past…

Stress of working with vendors and staff…

And the pressure of not enough customers and thus not earning your desired income.

It’s a nasty hamster wheel.

One that effects your quality of life, your income and family relationships.

Been there. Done it. Will probably write a book one day. : )

For a small business owner, conquering anxiety can be a game-changer, unlocking a treasure trove of unique desires, wants, hopes, and dreams that were previously veiled by worry or fear.

And that is just one of the things I can help with.

So as a certified practitioner and marketing specialist I decided to help you like no one else has.

Combine the skills and create a practice useful for other entrepreneurs like myself.

I call it the High Achievers Lifestyle Technique (HALT) ✋🏻🛑⛔️

Pretty clever name right?  😉

By taking rapid relief processes to reduce or eliminate anxiety sometimes in minutes

Instead of week after week of talking about that incident that happened in 5th grade.

You can spend more time creating new habits and thought’s…

that will attract the lifestyle you dream of.

The lifestyle you desired when starting your business.

AND in the process, get help with your marketing to begin attracting clients…

Like ants to a Snickers bar dropped on the sidewalk  on a warm summer day. 🐜

(Some kid is crying over that  – maybe a future client for me).

Hence the birth of “The Holistic Business Coach” or “Super Coach”

HOW HALT WORKS

The Science behind HALT

The processes I use in coaching are based on proven neuroscience.

There may be moments when change happens so quickly it feels like magic…

But there are no mystical, woo woo techniques that I use in helping you excel.

The next section describes the most commonly used tools at CNI.

Or simply a therapist for entrepreneurs.

These are the core tools I utilize when working with you.

They are explained in detail to help you understand I am not a “cheerleader” performing “woo-woo”.

Hypnosis

Many people have a misconception of hypnosis a way of taking over your mind.

The truth is you are totally in control and the hypnotist is only a guide.

It is sometimes called guided meditation to appeal to those who fear hypnosis and  because it’s so relaxing.

Being in trance is quite natural.  It can occur on those days when you pull up to your garage and don’t remember much of the drive home.

It happens when you are sucked into a suspensful movie or binge watching a show to see what happens next.

As a practioner of Ericksonian Hypnosis, I don’t do stage hypnosis.

Sorry, I won’t have you cluck like a chicken. 🐔

Think of me as a silent whisper in your ear…

Gently nudging you towards your entrepreneurial goals.

Hypnosis can benefit you, the small business owner by:

1. Unlocking Hidden Potential: You wear many hats, and sometimes, your own potential gets buried under the daily grind. I can help you access unconscious resources you didn’t know you had. Imagine discovering a wellspring of creativity for that marketing campaign, or unearthing the confidence to negotiate that crucial deal.

2. Taming the Stress Dragon: The weight of responsibility can be heavy. Ericksonian Hypnosis offers a powerful tool for managing stress. Imagine entering a state of deep relaxation, where worries melt away like snowflakes on a warm palm. This newfound calm can translate into clearer decision-making, improved focus, and even better sleep, crucial for any entrepreneur.

3. Building Resilience: The road to success is rarely smooth. Setbacks and failures are inevitable. But what if you could bounce back faster, learning from each stumble? Hypnosis can help you reframe challenges, build inner strength, and cultivate a “can-do” attitude, propelling you forward even in the face of adversity.

4. Sharpening Focus and Motivation: Juggling tasks can be overwhelming. Hypnosis can help you achieve laser-sharp focus, allowing you to prioritize effectively and complete tasks with renewed motivation. Imagine entering a state where distractions fade away, and your mind becomes a finely tuned instrument, ready to tackle any challenge.

5. Boosting Communication and Influence: Whether it’s negotiating with clients, leading your team, or pitching to investors, effective communication is key. Hypnosis can help you tap into your natural charisma, improve your listening skills, and radiate confidence, allowing you to connect with others on a deeper level and achieve your goals.

Neural Linguistic Programming (NLP)

NLP started in the early 1970’s in Santa Cruz, California, when Richard Bandler, a 20-year-old psychology student at U.C. Santa Cruz, met and became friends with Dr. John Grinder, who was in his late 20’s and an associate professor of linguistics at the college.

Bandler modelled the methods used by Virgina Satir (1916-1988), American author, social worker, and internationally esteemed family therapist; co-founder of the Mental Research Institute (MRI) in Palo Alto, California.

Bandler also modelled the work of Fritz Perls, (1893–1970), who developed a form of psychotherapy that he known as gestalt therapy. Influenced by Perls’ work, Bandler formed study groups and gave workshops, that were cantered around gestalt therapy.

Bandler and Grinder teamed up, to study the principles that governed the language structure of gestalt therapy. They wanted to define the techniques and skills used by successful therapist.

They studied the work, writings and recordings of Perls and Satir, to extract the essence that made these two therapists exceptional. How did they produce excellence in their work?

Bandler and Grinder were captivated by Milton Erickson’s techniques , and incorporated Erickson’s manner of conversational hypnosis into the NLP. Communicating to the unconscious using “artfully vague” techniques and did away with authoritarian suggestions.

It would be something in 1974 that they took courses taught by Erickson.  It was then NLP developed into the gentle yet effective model for change.

Sales trainer, Jordan Belfort, who became popular from Leonardo DiCaprio portraying him in the film “The Wolf of Wall Street” provides a great description of NLP and how it works for you by comparing it to computer software.

1. Improved Sales and Marketing:

  • Persuasive communication: Understanding how to frame your message effectively and connect with your audience’s needs can lead to improved sales pitches and marketing materials.
  • Active listening: Effectively listening to your customers and understanding their pain points allows you to tailor your offerings and communication to their needs.

2. Enhanced Customer Service:

  • Empathy and rapport building: By using techniques to build rapport and demonstrate understanding, you can create a more positive customer experience and foster loyalty.
  • Conflict resolution: Effective communication skills can help you navigate challenging customer interactions and resolve issues peacefully.

3. Team Management and Leadership:

  • Motivational communication: Inspiring and motivating your team can lead to increased productivity and morale.
  • Clear and concise communication: Ensuring everyone on your team understands their roles and responsibilities creates a smoother workflow and avoids misunderstandings.

4. Building Relationships and Networking:

  • Confident communication: Presenting yourself clearly and confidently can leave a positive impression on potential partners, investors, and collaborators.
  • Active listening and building rapport: This helps you connect with others on a deeper level and build valuable relationships.

How Others Have Benefited From NLP

NLP at its core sums up one of Tony Robbins most powerful beliefs: We can change the way we think, feel and behave by changing our focus – because where focus goes, energy flows. Tony has adapted many NLP training techniques into his system, neuro-associative conditioning.

I was drawn to NLP initially to strengthen my sales skills. I was already getting great results in my career, and I wanted to take my success to the next level. It worked. In my first year of studying NLP, I was offered a new job and negotiated a 20% pay increase in my income using NLP techniques.

What I was learning in my NLP classes was improving all of the relationships in my life – with prospects, my network, clients, friends, family, and most importantly, with my loving partner.

Neuro-linguistic programming is incredible! It’s a science of the mind. It teaches you exercises and methods for positive thinking reinforcement. I swear by it. It changed my life.

Graphology

Many consider graphology a pseudoscience, but the practice often imparts findings on courtrooms, hiring offices, and police stations. “Every letter symbolizes something to do with what’s going on in your mind,” says graphologist Michelle Dresbold, author of Sex, Lies, and Handwriting.

“People think handwriting analysis is like voodoo or tea leaves; it’s not. It’s body movement from your brain. It’s very logical.” 1

I use Graphology as a tool to identify traits in your subconscious that you may not be aware of.

I also share traits that would be helpful in achieving your goals that can be implemented into your handwriting and thus imprinting your mind for success.

Integral Eye Movement Therapy (IEMT)

When working with a client that is carrying anxiety or traumatic memories IEMT is my first choice of resolution.  In most cases the client gains freedom within minutes.  For a small business owner it is important to remove roadblocks quickly because time is money.  The quicker they can shift from a problem state to a more productive state the faster they can then use more of their mind towards business growth.

IEMT is a proposed brief therapy and an evolving field that enables a core state change in minimal time.

The roots of this model could be traced to Steve Andreas and Connirae Andreas’s eye-movement integration therapy and Francine Shapiro’s eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, and was also influenced by David Grove’s ideas about exploring identity through the use of pronouns. The model was developed by therapist Andrew T. Austin, in the United Kingdom.

This development followed the observation of a number of neurological phenomena that occur during the therapeutic eye movements, specifically at the moment that the problematic imagery changed its emotional coding.

From this followed the development of a set of applications of these phenomena that enabled Integral Eye Movement Therapy to be applied to the areas of neurological imprints specifically, imprints of emotion, and some imprints of identity.2

These techniques constitute the core of my change work with you however everyone has different needs which may include processes not mentioned.

It’s important to know that while I may be light hearted I take your success seriously.

I don’t have a magic wand to change you overnight.

I only help clear the path so that strategies we decide on for continued growth have little resistance.

I’m your navigation system but you are the driver.

I won’t take credit for your achievements nor take blame if you don’t do the work.
